About the Role
We are seeking an experienced All Round Plant Operator to join our team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating a variety of civil construction plant to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
This is primarily an all-round plant operator role; however, applicants must be willing to assist with routine machine maintenance, manual labour and general civil construction duties when required. We value team players who are happy to step out of the cab and support the crew wherever needed to keep projects running safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar civil construction role.Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance with industry standards.
Demonstrated experience operating a range of civil plant including:
Articulated Dump Trucks (Moxy)
Excavators
Loaders
Graders
Rollers
Water Carts
Side Tippers
Sound knowledge of civil construction practices.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Current HR Driver's Licence (essential).
National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Relevant plant tickets, VOCs or nationally recognised competencies (desirable).
Tasks & Responsibilities
Safely operate a variety of civil construction plant and equipment.
Complete daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance of machinery.
Care for company plant and equipment.
Identify and report mechanical issues or defects promptly.
Assist with general labouring and civil construction activities when required.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Follow all company policies, procedures and site safety requirements.
Work closely with supervisors and fellow crew members to achieve project objectives.
