As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking Electrical Testers to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Victoria (Epping) within our Testing department. Schedule

• Full-time Position

• A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

• Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).

The Position

An Electrical Tester is required to complete all electrical practices as required in a way is safe for themselves and others around them. You will be required to read and interpret drawings to assist in the manufacturing and testing of switchboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical equipment and switchboards.

• Ensure the products LAI supplies is compliant with Australian Standards (AS3000-2018 & AS61439)

• Work alongside the drafting team, project managers, and estimators to ensure the project achieves a high-quality standard.

• Work alongside the workshop to achieve a high-quality product while also meeting timeframe requirements.

• Verify that the equipment for the job suits its purpose.

• Understand how to utilise a variety of different testing equipment.
