The role and what we are looking for

We're looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our Urban Civil Construction team across metro Adelaide. This is a hands-on site leadership role where you'll supervise and guide your crew day-to-day, drive a strong safety culture, and play a key part in delivering quality urban infrastructure outcomes across a range of projects.

You'll be the go-to person on site - working alongside your team, solving problems as they arise, and keeping delivery on track against programme and budget. If you're a proven site leader who takes pride in bringing the best out of your crew, we want to hear from you.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a Leading Hand role in urban civil construction — roadworks, earthworks, drainage, or similar
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse crew
• Hands-on technical capability across urban civil construction activities
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and deliver to scope and programme
• A genuine commitment to safety - you lead by example and build safety into everything the team does
• Coaching and mentoring skills - you invest in the people around you
• Ability to resolve conflict and align your team to clear roles and expectations
• Current drivers licence - essential for metro multi-site operations
