About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to join a newly established Talent Advisory team within the Workforce Planning branch in the People and Workforce group.
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will design and deliver strategic sourcing initiatives to attract high-quality talent across the NSW Government, with a focus on complex and hard-to-fill roles.You will play a key role in shaping sourcing best practice, contributing to workforce planning initiatives and leading talent projects from concept through to delivery. This includes enhancing employer branding, improving candidate experience and continuously refining sourcing approaches in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

We're Looking ForStrategic Sourcing and Pipelining: You bring extensive experience designing and delivering innovative sourcing strategies, including building and actively managing talent pipelines for complex or hard to fill roles (such as Digital, Infrastructure, Legal & Policy, executive, or niche roles)Market Insight and Innovation: You use market intelligence and creative sourcing approaches to identify, engage, and convert high‑quality and passive candidates, supporting both immediate hiring needs and longer‑term workforce capabilityStakeholder Engagement and Advisory: You can confidently partner and build strong relationships with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups. You use data, market insights and professional judgement to influence decision-making, challenge thinking constructively and achieve agreed talent outcomesTechnology and Systems: You are highly proficient in contemporary sourcing and recruitment tools, such as LinkedIn, AI‑enabled platforms, applicant tracking systems, and using technology to enhance talent identification and engagementDelivery and Project Focus: You have demonstrated experience leading projects from planning through to implementation. You manage competing priorities, influence stakeholders, measure progress and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines in complex environments
