Second Class Welder (Light Fabricator)

We’re seeking a reliable, safety‑conscious Second Class Welder (Sheet Fabricator) to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to work on a variety of projects delivering high quality work to multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on Mild Steel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel.

• Assist with fabrication, fit-up, and assembly of both one off projects and jobbing tasks

• Read, interpret and manufacture to engineering drawings in both Metric and Imperial units

• Complete work orders and accurately log time against tasks

• Liaise with team leaders to order and manage tooling requirements

• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area and follow all safety procedures

• Be available for overtime as required

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

• Trade Certificate: Fabrication Trade (Welding) or Relevant Experience

• Demonstrated experience MIG/TIG welding

• Press break, guillotine operation

• CNC Operating Experience an advantage (Occasionally changing jobbing parts)

• Ability to read and manufacture to engineering drawings (Metric & Imperial)

• Full working rights in Australia

• Current driver's licence

• Reliable, safety focused and committed to high quality workmanship

Experience & Licences

• Forklift licence: desirable (please advise if you hold one)
