🗂 We’re Hiring: Compliance Team Lead🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Mid-Level to SeniorWe are seeking an experienced, analytical, and highly organized Compliance Team Lead to lead our compliance operations and support a strong culture of regulatory compliance across the organization. This role is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management, internal controls, and compliance operations.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Lead and oversee the daily activities of the Compliance team.• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.• Monitor regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal monitoring activities.• Identify, investigate, document, and escalate potential compliance issues.• Oversee KYC, AML, customer due diligence, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring processes where applicable.• Ensure compliance records, documentation, and reports are accurate and properly maintained.• Coordinate internal and external compliance audits and regulatory reviews.• Prepare compliance reports, risk assessments, management updates, and regulatory submissions.• Provide guidance to business teams on regulatory requirements and compliance policies.• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs.• Monitor remediation activities and ensure identified compliance issues are addressed within agreed timelines.• Establish and track compliance KPIs, risk indicators, and monitoring metrics.• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, IT, Security, and senior management teams.• Keep senior management informed of regulatory changes, compliance risks, and emerging issues.• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance processes and controls.• Mentor, coach, and develop compliance team members to achieve departmental objectives.✅ Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.• 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, AML, KYC, regulatory affairs, or a related field.• Previous team leadership, supervisory, or people-management experience is preferred.• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and internal control principles.• Experience conducting compliance reviews, risk assessments, and monitoring activities.• Knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring is an advantage.• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.• Strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting.• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.• Strong ethical standards, integrity, and professional judgment.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.• CAMS, ICA, CCEP, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.🌟 What We Offer• Leadership responsibility within a growing compliance function.• Hands-on exposure to regulatory compliance, risk management, internal controls, and governance.• Opportunities to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.• Structured training and professional development opportunities.• Career progression into Compliance Manager, Senior Compliance Manager, Head of Compliance, or Risk & Compliance Director roles.• Opportunities to lead compliance improvement and regulatory transformation initiatives.• Professional, collaborative, and supportive working environment.• Continuous learning and industry development opportunities.• Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
