About the Role

This is a hands-on Appliance Technician role based at Coppabella Village, working across a large-scale accommodation site on a 7 days on, 7 days off Drive in Drive Out (DIDO) or Fly in Fly out (FIFO) roster.

You will be responsible for delivering reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across a wide range of commercial and domestic appliances, ensuring assets are maintained safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in minimising downtime and supporting a safe, comfortable experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Perform reactive, planned and preventative maintenance on village appliances Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systemsRepair and replace components (motors, elements, switches, belts, etc.)Install and upgrade appliances and associated electrical infrastructureMaintain commercial kitchen, laundry and general village equipmentComplete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance recordsLiaise with contractors and suppliers as requiredEnsure compliance with safety and legislative requirements

About You

Electrical Licence (essential)Experience in commercial appliance repair and maintenancePrevious DIDO or remote site experienceStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, remote site environmentStrong organisational skills and ability to manage workloadTeam player with a proactive, safety-first approachRefrigeration Licence (desirable)First Aid / CPR / LVR (desirable)Working at Heights / Confined Space (desirable)
