About the Role

As a Restoration Technician, you will play a key role in the full restoration process across residential and commercial properties. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mould, water, and fire damage restoration using professional equipment

• Conduct inspections and assessments of damaged properties

• Evaluate and report on required works, including documentation for insurance purposes

• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment

• Remove and dispose of damaged building materials

• Carry out restoration tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs, and reinstatement support

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with IICRC standards

• Maintain and care for all equipment and supplies

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients and team members

• Travel to job sites as required (company vehicle provided where applicable)

• Participate in an on-call roster and occasional after-hours work

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years experience in water damage restoration (essential)

• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

• Cleaning and restoration skills

• Physical capability to perform labour-intensive work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude with initiative and a “can-do” approach

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Leadership qualities are highly regarded

• IICRC or ITI accreditation (preferred but not essential)

• Valid driver’s licence (Company van provided)

• Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
