Build On Services is seeking experienced Surveyors (Civil & Infrastructure) to join a major renewable infrastructure project. This is an outstanding opportunity for surveyors looking to contribute to large-scale, nation-shaping renewable energy developments.Working within a high-performing delivery team alongside Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Consultants, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in supporting setout, verification, and quality control activities, driving project outcomes, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out setout, levelling, and as-built survey activities across civil and infrastructure work frontsUndertake site surveys, control surveys, and quality verification checks to support construction activitiesReview and interpret design and survey documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specificationsCoordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to support day-to-day construction and survey requirementsPrepare, review, and manage survey data, reports, and as-built recordsMonitor and verify subcontractor survey outputs against project specifications and contractual requirementsSupport quality assurance processes, including inspections, test plans, and compliance documentationAssist with procurement coordination and resource allocation relating to survey activitiesMaintain accurate survey records to support project reporting, progress tracking, and risk managementIdentify and escalate discrepancies or risks in survey data, implementing proactive solutions to maintain delivery objectivesEnsure compliance with Australian Standards, project specifications, and client requirementsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key project stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes
🎯 Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience as a Surveyor within the Australian civil and infrastructure construction industryDemonstrated experience delivering major infrastructure or renewable energy projects with Tier 1 contractorsProven experience across renewable energy, utilities, power, or large-scale infrastructure developmentsAustralian construction experience is essentialExposure to major renewable or infrastructure projects is highly desirableStrong understanding of survey methodology, setout processes, and construction sequencingExperience working with total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and relevant survey softwareSound knowledge of Australian construction standards, regulations, and relevant survey codesExperience managing survey documentation, as-built records, and project reporting requirementsStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in fast-paced, regional/remote project environments and manage competing prioritiesRelevant trade qualification, diploma, or degree in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related disciplineFull Australian working rightsWillingness and ability to work FIFO/DIDO rosters
