Accounts Receivable Officer

Uneedit Supplies has been supplying businesses across Australia with quality, cost effective first aid, safety, hygiene and janitorial products for over 90 years.

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a quality customer service experience including logistics and aftermarket service.

We are looking for a motivated person to join our small team in Milperra, playing a pivotal role in protecting and strengthening the company's financial position.

This is a part-time position working in the office, ideally 4 - 5 days a week, with a total of 20 to 25 hours a week.

What You'll Do:

· Accounts Receivable – posting customer payments, allocations, credit notes, monthly customer statements, bank and customer account reconciliations.

· Addressing Customer inquiries and resolving payment issues

· Collections – proactively follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve disputes or complex cases in a professional manner

· Manage Client Portals for invoicing

· Credit Evaluation & Risk – access customer creditworthiness, set limits, and manage approvals

· Support the month-end process, contributing to timely financial reporting

· Record & File Management – maintain accurate files and records aligned with Accounts Receivable processes

· Answer the phone calls if they overflow

The Successful Applicant would ideally possess:

• 3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable

• A strong team work ethic, organised and ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team

• Confident communication skills with a knack for building rapport

• Attention to detail and levels of accuracy

• Experience with the accounting system JIWA is desirable, but not essential

• Experience with the Microsoft office 365 suite of products including Outlook, Word & Excel

• Experience in a work environment that involves stock will be an advantage
