MAX Build finds solutions to complex remedial challenges, delivering major remediation projects, high-rise façade maintenance and refurbishment works, and building adaptations and upgrades.

Projects are delivered across New South Wales, with this role based across various Sydney project sites.

The Role

MAX Build is an expanding remedial construction company searching for a qualified Bricklayer to join our growing site team and deliver high-quality bricklaying and masonry works across a diverse range of remedial construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out brick and block laying, brick replacement, façade repairs, lintel and structural masonry repairs, repointing and associated remedial works. You will work closely with Site Managers and the broader project team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This role will suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys problem-solving and has experience working on occupied buildings, remedial projects or complex refurbishment works.

The Right Candidate

The right candidate will be a skilled tradesperson who is committed to quality, safety and delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients.

You will have:

• Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying (or equivalent trade qualification/ experience)

• Current White Card

• Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience in bricklaying or masonry

• Experience working across remedial, commercial or multi-residential construction projects (highly regarded)

• Experience carrying out brick replacement, repointing, masonry repairs and structural remediation

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and safe work practices relating to masonry construction

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a site team

• A current driver's licence and reliable transport
