Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker who is passionate about making a genuine difference in people’s lives?
Alifa is looking for a Lead Support Worker to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who not only has strong disability support experience but also loves building relationships, supporting independence, and helping people achieve their goals.

About the role:
As a Lead Support Worker, you will work alongside participants, their support teams, and Alifa staff to provide high-quality, person-centred support. You will help guide consistent supports, mentor team members, and ensure the people we support receive care that reflects their individual goals and preferences.
What we’re looking for:
✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker
✔ Strong understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practice
✔ Experience supporting people with complex needs and trauma backgrounds
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check, mandatory training completed, permanent employment visa
✔ Ability to build positive relationships with multiple participants
✔ A confident communicator who can support and guide others
✔ A great personality — someone who brings energy, humour, kindness and the Alifa spirit to their work
About you:
You are someone who sees the person first. You enjoy helping people build confidence, develop skills, connect with their community, and have more choice and control in their lives.
You are reliable, proactive and someone others naturally look to for support. You understand that every person is different and that great support starts with listening, respect and genuine connection.
