Payroll & Remuneration Officer

• Band 6 Annualised (with monthly RDO) $99,875.65 - $110,823.31 per annum, plus superannuation

About the role

This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional looking to further develop their career in a complex and fast-paced environment. You will be detail-focused, motivated to deliver accurate outcomes, and able to maintain a calm and methodical approach in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Experience delivering a high-quality computerised payroll service is essential. In this role, you will:

• Deliver accurate and compliant payroll services, ensuring the timely processing of payroll, superannuation, deductions and statutory obligations.
• Maintain payroll systems and employee records, ensuring data integrity, legislative compliance and effective management of payroll information within Aurion.
• Provide expert payroll advice and support to managers, employees and the People & Culture Team, including interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement and reporting, identifying process enhancements, supporting audits, developing procedures and producing payroll-related reports and insights.
