Head of Learning Area - Religious Education

Mandurah Catholic College is seeking an outstanding, faith-filled and student-centred educator to lead our vibrant Religious Education Learning Area. This key Middle Leadership position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catholic educator to shape and strengthen the College's Religious Education program, commencing in 2027.

As Head of Learning Area - Religious Education, you will provide strategic and educational leadership across Years 7-12, fostering excellence in teaching and learning while ensuring the delivery of a contemporary, engaging and academically rigorous Religious Education curriculum. You will work collaboratively with staff to inspire a culture of faith, inquiry and continuous improvement, supporting students to deepen their understanding of Catholic beliefs, values and traditions.

The successful applicant will be an active and practising Catholic who demonstrates a strong commitment to Catholic education and a genuine passion for nurturing the faith development of young people. They will possess extensive experience teaching Religious Education, a proven record of achieving strong student outcomes, and the leadership capability to mentor and support colleagues in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
