Estimator / Supervisor

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and experienced Building Estimator / Supervisor to join our team!

We are a growing building company looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has great attention to detail and can confidently manage projects from estimating through to completion.

About the Role

This is a varied role that will involve both estimating and supervising building works, working closely with clients, trades and our team to make sure projects run smoothly and are completed to a high standard.

Cert IV in Building & Construction is essential

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate and competitive building estimates and quotations

• Reviewing plans, scopes of work and site requirements

• Attending site inspections and assessing works required

• Coordinating and supervising trades and subcontractors

• Managing projects from start to completion

• Communicating with clients and keeping them updated throughout the project

• Ordering and coordinating materials

• Monitoring project timeframes, quality and costs

• Identifying potential issues early and finding practical solutions

• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with relevant requirements

• Maintaining accurate project documentation and records

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in building, construction, estimating or project supervision

• Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with clients and trades

• Organised and able to manage multiple jobs at once

• Reliable and takes pride in their work

• Strong with communication and attention to detail

• Able to read plans and understand building requirements

• Confident using computers and estimating/project management systems

• A practical problem solver who can think on their feet

• Someone who enjoys being part of a team and isn't afraid to get involved
