About the Role

As our Cosmetic Nurse Injector, you'll be a senior clinical presence in the clinic, delivering advanced injectable and laser-based treatments with a high degree of clinical autonomy. This role suits an experienced nurse who is confident assessing clients, designing treatment plans, and delivering consistent, natural-looking results — while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform client consultations, facial assessments, and treatment planning for anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and other injectable treatments

• Administer botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments in line with clinical protocols and scope of practice

• Perform laser and light-based treatments (e.g. IPL, laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, vascular/pigment treatments) as certified

• Conduct thorough patient history-taking, informed consent, and pre/post-treatment care education

• Identify and manage complications or adverse reactions promptly and appropriately, escalating to the Medical Director where required

• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and patient records

• Recommend and cross-sell appropriate skincare, treatment packages, and treatment plans to support client outcomes

• Build long-term client relationships and support client retention through trusted clinical care

• Ensure full compliance with AHPRA

• Maintain infection control, hygiene, and clinical safety standards at all times

• Participate in ongoing training, case reviews, and professional development

• Mentor and support junior nursing staff where applicable

About You

Essential:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner endorsement highly regarded)

• Minimum 3 years' clinical experience, including demonstrated experience in a cosmetic/aesthetic clinic setting

• Certified in cosmetic injectables (anti-wrinkle and dermal filler) with a strong treatment portfolio

• Laser and IPL trained and certified (e.g. accredited laser safety/operator certification appropriate to state licensing requirements)

• Sound understanding of facial anatomy, treatment planning, and complication management

• Excellent consultation, communication, and client-relationship skills

• High attention to detail with a genuine commitment to patient safety and natural results

• Current CPR/First Aid certificate

• Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Highly regarded:

• Nurse Practitioner qualification with endorsement for prescribing

• Additional training in advanced techniques

• Experience with clinic software/patient management systems
