Senior Barber – Full Time/Part-time/Casual

We are seeking an experienced Senior Barber to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This full-time role combines hands-on barbering with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is passionate about the industry and enjoys mentoring others.

As our Senior Barber, you will lead by example, delivering exceptional barbering services while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy, customer-focused barbershop. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high service standards, supporting your team and creating an outstanding experience for every client.

What you’ll be doing

● Delivering high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves and grooming treatments.

● Leading, mentoring and supporting junior barbers to help them develop their skills and confidence.

● Building strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.

● Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.

● Handling customer enquiries and resolving concerns in a professional and positive manner.

What we’re looking for

● A recognised barbering qualification or extensive hands-on experience in a professional barbering environment.

● Previous experience as a senior barber.

● Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.

● A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

● Up-to-date knowledge of modern barbering techniques, trends and products.

● Sound understanding of health, safety and hygiene requirements.

● Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

● A proactive, reliable and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

● A passion for the barbering industry and a desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of a thriving business.
