Service Technician

Location: WINGFIELD, SA

Salary: Hourly Rate

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues efficiently and accurately
• Carry out occasional refrigeration unit installations
• Ensure all work meets TRS quality standards and customer expectations
• Follow all WHS and industry compliance requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Accurately complete service, repair, and maintenance records
• Work collaboratively with the service team and support other branch functions as required

What We’re Looking For We are seeking a technician who brings technical aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. While experience with refrigeration or diesel systems is highly regarded, full training is available for candidates with strong mechanical foundations. Skills & Experience

• Qualified automotive tradesperson (light or heavy vehicle, auto electrician, plant mechanic, etc.), or qualification/experience in refrigeration or air-conditioning
• ARC licence advantageous, but TRS will assist the successful applicant to obtain it
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Sound knowledge of WHS standards and safe work practices
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Driver’s licence preferred
• Hand tools and gauges required (tool allowance provided)
