Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic

The Ville Resort-Casino is looking for a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic on a Permanent Fulltime basis to join our Engineering team to help us across our three properties. This role offers:

About the role 

As the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic you will be the go-to expert for maintaining and repairing a wide range of refrigeration and HVAC systems. From routine servicing and preventative maintenance to fault-finding and complex repairs, you’ll keep our systems running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Tasks include:

• Maintaining regular routine checks and general maintenance on plant and equipment
• Maintaining a high standard of performance and pride in workmanship
• Follow up to ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed on all equipment in allotted time.
• Effectively respond to breakdowns in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Qualified tradesperson in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, with experience ideally performing maintenance work within commercial properties.
• Current Queensland Refrigeration License
• Licensed for restricted electrical work and current ARCTick Licence are mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
