Casual HR Truck Driver (Tipper) - Chandler Store

About the role

Nuway Landscape Supplies Pavers & Walls is seeking a Casual HR Tipper Truck Driver to join our team at our Chandler Store . This is a casual position offering flexibility for the right candidate.

As a Tipper Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of landscape supplies to our customers across the region. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliable service and supporting the growth of our business in the landscape supply industry.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tipper trucks safely and efficiently to transport landscape supplies and related materials to customer sites

• Conduct pre-delivery vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is roadworthy and safe for operation

• Load and unload materials, or supervise loading procedures, ensuring cargo is secured appropriately for transport

• Maintain accurate Electronic delivery records and documentation, including delivery notes.

• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues

• Adhere to all road safety regulations, weight restrictions, and company safety policies

• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly

• Operate the tipper mechanism safely and responsibly.

What we're looking for

• HR License required

• Proven experience driving tipper trucks - Desirable but not essential.

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and workplace health and safety requirements

• Excellent driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively whilst meeting delivery deadlines

• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach

• Physical fitness and ability to assist with loading and unloading materials when required

• Reliability and flexibility to accommodate casual work arrangements

What we offer

This casual position offers flexibility to suit your schedule and lifestyle. Approx 20-40hrs per week and generally every second weekend.
