About the role
Burns for Blinds is one of South Australia's most trusted names in window furnishings, proudly serving Adelaide families for decades. From our Norwood showroom and store network across the metro area and Adelaide Hills, we design and install quality blinds, awnings, shutters and security doors — and our installers are the face of that promise in every customer's home.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Installer to join our team on a full-time, employee basis — this is not a subcontractor arrangement. You'll be out on the road every day installing our full range of window furnishings in homes across Adelaide, backed by a company that supplies everything you need to do the job well.
What we provide:
· Fully equipped company van
· All tools and equipment supplied
· Consistent, scheduled work — no chasing jobs or quoting for work
· Full training on our products and installation methods
· Uniform and ongoing support from an experienced team
Day to day, you will:
· Install blinds, awnings, shutters and other window furnishings in customers' homes
· Carry out check measures and ensure a quality fit and finish
· Represent Burns for Blinds professionally in every home you visit
· Keep your van, tools and job paperwork in good order
· Work closely with our showroom and scheduling teams
· A trade background (carpentry, cabinet making, glazing, shopfitting or similar) is highly regarded, but not essential — full training is provided
· Handy with tools and confident working accurately and independently
· A current driver's licence (essential)
· Great with people — friendly, punctual and presentable in customers' homes
· Physically fit and comfortable working on ladders and in varied home environments
· Reliable, with pride in your workmanship
· Immediate start available
· Secure, ongoing employment with a well-established SA business
· Everything supplied — van, tools, training and steady work
· Be part of a supportive team with a strong local reputation
· Genuine opportunity to build a long-term career in the industry
