About the role
Transform lives, every single day
Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.
We're a well-respected not-for-profit that's been serving society's most vulnerable for over 170 years. Each year, we achieve life changing outcomes for more than 40,000 people who rely on our person centred support. And now, we're extending our reach and impact even further.
As a Caseworker in the Central West, you'll be key to our mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities. Working within our Financial Wellbeing team, you'll support individuals and families experiencing financial hardship to access safe and affordable financial solutions through the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS).
From guiding clients through their loan application to helping them better understand their financial options, you'll provide practical, compassionate support that helps people navigate financial hardship with greater confidence and choice.
Whether you're already part of Anglicare and looking for your next career opportunity, or you're joining us for the first time, you'll be welcomed into a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven community where we don't just talk about values - we live them.
Your opportunity
As a Caseworker, you'll provide end-to-end support to clients accessing the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS), helping eligible individuals and households on low incomes access safe and affordable loans.
You'll combine client casework, financial capability education, administration and community engagement to ensure people receive a seamless, respectful and person-centred experience.
With integrity and resilience, you will:

You'll be proactive, adaptable and comfortable balancing client appointments, casework, administration and community engagement.
Most importantly, you'll share Anglicare's values of Integrity, Justice, Compassion and Excellence.

Why Anglicare?
We provide meaningful opportunities and choice, both for the individuals and communities we support and the dedicated people here who make it happen.
At Anglicare, you'll get the security, stability and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that's ready for the future. You'll belong to a community of kind, humble and respectful people of all faiths and backgrounds. You'll also be supported to gain new knowledge, deepen your experience and expertise, and shape a rewarding career.
Whether you're a current Anglicare employee looking to broaden your experience or an external applicant ready for your next opportunity, you'll have the chance to build your capability while contributing to work that makes a genuine difference.
On top of that, here are just some of the tangible benefits you'll enjoy in a career with us:
We're many services, with one purpose - to meet people where they are and walk with them.
At Anglicare, we believe everyone is Made for Connection - with God, with each other and with the places we call home. But sometimes, life unravels. That's where we step in, in Community and Mission, offering hope, support and presence.
Through our Financial Wellbeing services, we walk alongside people experiencing financial hardship, providing practical support, greater choice and opportunities to move forward with confidence. Every conversation and connection is an opportunity to help someone take their next step.
