About the role
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced commercial and property lawyers (3+ years PAE) to work alongside a senior, highly regarded director, take real carriage of client work from day one, and build a role around the way you want to work.
The role offers genuine flexibility, part-time from 14 hours p/week, structured around you, to support work-life balance. Hybrid/remote working is available, with some in-office time as needed.
Key responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts
Assist with and run M&A and business restructuring transactions
Prepare legal advices and correspondence
Manage the full conveyancing process, including PEXA settlements
Get involved in ancillary areas such as employment, construction law and/or IP, depending on your interests
About you
3+ years' PAE
Meticulous, hardworking, analytical, a natural problem solver, and a strong communicator
A strong academic record
If your background is in commercial law: experience with the full lifecycle of an M&A transaction (buy and sell side), asset and share sales, strong contract review, drafting and negotiation skills
If your background is in property: experience across residential and/or commercial conveyancing, confidence working in PEXA, solid commercial leasing experience
Comfort working closely within a small team
A genuine interest in one or more ancillary areas, which include employment, construction or IP
