Key Account Support Officer Hybrid

Are you highly organised, confident with Excel and skilled at turning account information into clear, practical updates?

We are seeking a detail-focused Key Account Support Officer to support client account management, service delivery and internal decision-making. This varied role offers an even balance between reviewing account information and providing responsive support to clients and internal stakeholders.

You will work with established systems and reports to extract and review information, identify discrepancies and ensure enquiries and follow-up actions are progressed effectively. Full training will be provided on company-specific systems and processes.

About the Role

This is a practical account support and coordination position combining client communication with analytical review. It is not a technical data analyst, sales or business development role. You will not be expected to develop complex analytical models or independently make final decisions regarding client outcomes.

Instead, you will play an important role in ensuring clients and internal teams receive accurate information, clear communication and reliable support.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Extract and review client account information and reports from existing business systems.
• Use Excel to sort, compare, update and interpret account information.
• Identify missing, inconsistent or unusual information requiring further investigation.
• Provide clear summaries and accurate updates to clients, account managers and business leaders.
• Manage a dedicated client mailbox and respond promptly to enquiries and requests.
• Coordinate follow-up actions across internal teams and track outstanding matters.
• Help manage client expectations by clearly communicating progress, requirements and next steps.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, system notes, account updates and supporting documentation.
• Assist with client reports, account summaries and internal status updates.
• Escalate issues appropriately and professionally address requests that fall outside the agreed scope.
• Support onboarding, account setup and ongoing service delivery activities.
• Contribute to process improvements where gaps or inefficiencies are identified.

• Full working rights—Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory.

Experience in client service, account support, administration, operations coordination, portfolio support or project coordination would be highly regarded. Previous experience using a CRM, client database or business system would also be beneficial.

A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, administration, communications, management, operations or a related discipline would be well regarded but is not essential where equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
