Handyperson

About the role

Verity Construction is seeking a Handyperson to join our team. This is a casual position offering flexibility whilst contributing to our defects and handyperson services across a variety of projects located in NSW.

What you'll be doing

• Defect rectification on completed commercial projects.

• Site establishment including setting up fencing, signage and amenities.

• Temporary construction works including temporary handrail install.

• Assisting the Site Manager with setout.

• Driving the truck to move materials between our sites.

• Site clean up.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Handyperson, maintenance technician, or similar role

• Competency with a range of hand tools and power tools

• Knowledge of general building.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Excellent communication.

• Current and valid driver's license

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to respond to varying workloads and project demands

• A commitment to health and safety best practices
