About the role
The Business Development Representative, Sydney Flames is a dedicated Flames sales role responsible for driving ticket sales revenue, growing attendance, and supporting premium seating and membership sales across the Sydney Flames WNBL season.
The BDR owns day to day Flames sales activity across single match, group, family, community, membership and premium audiences, and is the on the ground commercial presence for the Flames fan base, partner network and game day experience. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, Premium Ticketing and the Head of Ticketing & Membership Growth, the BDR contributes to pricing, product and campaign decisions that shape how the Flames go to market.
A driven, relationship led BDR with a min of 1 years’ experience in a sales role in events, ticketing, partnerships or commercial roles, ideally in sport, entertainment or membership based businesses. Someone who is passionate about women’s sport, energised by hitting targets, and creative about finding new ways to fill seats and grow the Flames community.

Approximately 10% of the role provides administrative and sales support to the Business Development Manager, Premium Ticketing across both Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames, including CRM data entry, lead list building, car parking allocations client correspondence and game day logistics.
The Sydney Kings (NBL) and Sydney Flames (WNBL) seasons run from September to April. This period represents the peak operational window for the business and is generally a block-out period for annual leave. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support game day operations and other scheduled events during season. A Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) policy applies to additional hours worked on game days.
