Apprenticeship Intake

Ahrens Group is now accepting applications for apprenticeship opportunities!

We welcome applications from students currently enrolled in, or looking to commence, an apprenticeship in the following trades:

• Boilermaking – Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade

• Mechanical Fitting – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade

We’re open to hearing from apprentices of all years, including those looking to commence their first year or continue their apprenticeship with us.

Through your apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to put your learning into practice, build hands-on technical skills and gain real-world experience while working alongside experienced tradespeople and leaders.

We’ll support you every step of the way, with guidance, training and mentoring as you work towards becoming a qualified and skilled tradesperson.

Your experience could include time at our Kwinana sites or in our Kwinana workshop, giving you exposure to different work environments and the opportunity to learn what a career in the trades can offer.

We’re looking individuals who:

• Can read, understand and follow job instructions.

• Communicates clearly and works well with others.

• Are willing to learn, take direction and ask questions when needed.

• Has a “can-do” attitude, is hands-on and takes pride in achieving a good result.

• Is committed to working safely and following workplace and site requirements.

• Holds a current Australian driver’s licence, or is working towards obtaining one.

• Is willing and able to obtain required site tickets, including Working at Heights and Confined Spaces.

• Is able to successfully complete the medical requirements for our worksites.
