Join Cairns Hospital Maternity Services as a Clinical Midwife within the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP), providing advanced clinical care and leadership in a well-established continuity of care model. In this autonomous role, you will deliver high-quality, woman-centred care throughout the maternity journey while mentoring colleagues, leading clinical initiatives, and driving service improvement.About us:
Cairns Hospital's Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) offers a continuity of care model that enables women to build a therapeutic relationship with a known midwife throughout their maternity journey. The service is committed to providing safe, evidence-based, woman-centred care and works collaboratively with obstetric, medical and allied health teams to support individualised care planning and positive birth experiences.
Our values were developed by our staff, patients and community. They guide our work and actions every day. Our staff are part of the community we serve. We believe that we can improve health outcomes by involving our community in the planning and evaluation of their local health services.
