Nexia Sydney is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our growing Business Advisory team.

Working closely with Managers, Partners and clients, you'll play a key role in delivering accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, mentor junior team members and further develop your leadership capability, while being supported by a collaborative and high-performing team.

About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns and other compliance deliverables.
• Work closely with clients to provide accounting, taxation and business advisory solutions.
• Assist Managers and Partners in delivering high quality client outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
• Support, coach and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Business Advisory team.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience within Business Advisory, Business Services or Public Practice Accounting.
• CA or CPA qualified. 
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements.
• Experience using APS, Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach and genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
