Teacher Aide - Bentley Park College - Special Education Program (3 Positions)

We are seeking caring, reliable and enthusiastic Teacher Aides to join our school team. This is an opportunity to support teachers in delivering engaging learning experiences while providing practical, educational and wellbeing support to students in the Special Education Program.

There are 2 Permanent and 1 Temporary positions. These positions are being offered in a Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight. The Part-Time Temporary position duration is until 11 December 2026 unless otherwise determined

Your opportunity:

• Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers with classroom activities, sport and excursions.
• Assist students with learning, literacy, numeracy and technology.
• Support students with special needs and personal care where required.
• Assist with student supervision, wellbeing, health and safety.
• Prepare and maintain learning resources and equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks and student records.
• Build positive relationships through respect, empathy and confidentiality.
• Work effectively as part of the school team.
• Undertake other duties as directed.

• Holds, or is willing to obtain, relevant first aid and other training required for the role.
