The RoleAs Project Master Scheduler, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising the integrated master schedule across all phases of Sharon AI's project lifecycle. You'll ensure project plans are accurate, dependencies are clearly understood, risks are visible and delivery teams have the information they need to execute effectively. Alongside scheduling, you'll provide project coordination support to the Project Manager across reporting, governance, communication and project administration.
Reporting to the Head of PMO, you'll work closely with project managers, technical leads, business stakeholders and external vendors to maintain alignment across timelines, priorities and deliverables. This is a role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to turn complex project data into clear insights and anticipate scheduling issues before they escalate.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using scheduling tools such as MS Project, Planner and JIRAAnalyse schedule performance, identify variances and recommend corrective actionsCoordinate with workstream leads to ensure task sequencing, dependencies and resource allocations are accurateConduct schedule risk assessments and scenario modellingPrepare schedule dashboards, critical path analysis and milestone tracking reportsSupport the Project Manager with project governance activities, including meeting preparation, minutes and action trackingAssist with project reporting, including status updates, RAID logs and stakeholder communicationsManage project documentation, version control and compliance with PMO standardsTrack project deliverables and proactively follow up with owners to ensure timely completionWork closely with project managers, technical leads, business stakeholders and external vendorsFacilitate communication across teams to maintain alignment on timelines and prioritiesPresent schedule insights, risks and dependencies clearly and concisely
Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Project Scheduler or similar roleStrong proficiency in scheduling tools such as MS Project, Planner, JIRA or equivalentSolid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid approachesAbility to interpret complex project data and communicate meaningful insights effectivelyExcellent organisational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsProactive approach, with the ability to anticipate and address scheduling issues before they escalateCollaborative and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levelsCalm under pressure and adaptable to shifting priorities
Experience working within PMO environments is desirable, as is exposure to large-scale transformation, construction, engineering or IT programs. Familiarity with risk management and dependency mapping is advantageous, while certifications such as PMI-SP, PMP or PRINCE2 will be highly regarded.
