We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Recovery/ PACU Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our clinical team on a Full-time, Part-time or Casual basis.

Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, no public holidays, closed 3 weeks over the Christmas/ New Year period.

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Deliver evidence-based care: Monitor patient wellbeing and administer safe, high-quality treatment tailored to each stage of their hospital stay.Prepare for safe surgery: Ensure the facility, equipment and clinical environment are ready to support safe, efficient surgical care.Prioritise and monitor patient safety: Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions.Support recovery at home: Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.Guide and support colleagues: Supervise and support on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.Champion improvement: Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital.

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

Solid experience as a Recovery/ PACU nurseCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled NurseAbility to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholdersSolid time management, organisational and communication skillsCurrent ALS and PALS desirable but not essential we will trainA willingness to diversify into other specialties, with training provided to support your development
