About the role
  
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and operating as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role combines executive leadership with hands-on ownership of digital growth strategy.
  
Your primary mandate will be to design and lead a best-in-class customer journey, from initial lead generation through CRM, marketing automation, digital engagement and sales conversion, to maximise customer lifetime value and accelerate business growth.
  
Working alongside an experienced Executive Team, including a highly capable finance function, your focus will be on creating a scalable digital business that combines exceptional customer experience with strong commercial outcomes.
  
This role will suit an executive who enjoys building businesses, leveraging technology and data to improve performance, and leading multidisciplinary teams through periods of significant growth and transformation
  
Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute the organisation's consumer growth strategy.
• Build a sophisticated digital acquisition, nurture and conversion capability.
• Lead CRM, marketing automation and customer lifecycle management.
• Optimise the end-to-end customer journey to improve lead quality, conversion and customer lifetime value.
• Drive digital product, pricing and customer experience initiatives.
• Use customer data and analytics to improve marketing performance and commercial outcomes.
• Partner closely with Sales to create a seamless digital-first customer experience.
• Identify new products, services and recurring revenue opportunities.
• Build scalable reporting, KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
• Provide strategic insight and commercial recommendations to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

About You
  
You are an accomplished executive who has successfully built or materially scaled a consumer-facing business through exceptional digital capability.
  
Your experience may have been gained within consumer technology, marketplaces, energy, fintech, proptech, automotive, telecommunications, subscription businesses, home services or another high-growth B2C environment.
  
More importantly, you understand how to create exceptional customer journeys that generate measurable commercial outcomes.
  
You have deep expertise across digital marketing, CRM, marketing automation, customer acquisition, conversion optimisation and customer lifecycle management, supported by strong commercial judgement and an ability to translate strategy into execution.
  
You are equally comfortable discussing customer data and marketing performance as you are leading executive conversations around growth strategy, organisational capability and long-term business performance.
  
You are naturally curious, commercially minded and highly accountable, with a passion for building high-performing teams and creating businesses that scale.
  
While previous P&L accountability will be viewed favourably, your ability to build a sophisticated digital growth engine and deliver outstanding customer outcomes will be the key driver of success in this role.
