About the role
HSE Advisor
AUSCOIL is an Australian-owned oil and gas well services company based in Charlton, Toowoomba. We deliver efficient well intervention, production enhancement, cementing and coiled tubing services to major oil and gas operators across Australia.
Our reputation has been built by a specialist team focused on safety, reliability, efficiency and innovation — including developing and implementing new technologies that improve the way work gets done in the field.
As a result of growth, we are now looking for a hands-on HSE Advisor to join our team.
This is a newly created, full-time, site-based role working a 15 days on / 13 days off roster, reporting to the HSEQ Manager. This role is all about being out in the field, working directly with crews on active oil and gas well sites — not sitting in an office writing reports.
You’ll be the person who helps make safety practical, visible and embedded in everyday work. Working closely with field crews, you’ll support safe operations by identifying risks early, coaching teams and helping translate procedures into real-world solutions that work on site.
This role requires a strong field presence, proactive engagement with crews, and the ability to turn Australian WHS legislation, client requirements and internal procedures into clear, practical controls that support safe and efficient operations.
If you enjoy being in the field, working alongside crews and making safety real rather than theoretical, this is the role for you.
