Guest Service Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and capable Guest Services Supervisor to join the team at Bunbury Farmers Market.

This is a hands-on supervisory role supporting the daily operation of front-of-house services. You will lead and support cashiers and trolley collectors, coordinate roster coverage, monitor register activity, and help ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient, and consistent service.

Bunbury Farmers Market is a leading regional independent retailer of fresh produce, Market Made meals, and high-quality specialist departments including our Gourmet Butcher/Deli, Dairy, Groceries, Sweet and Savoury Pastries, and Café. Role Summary

You will supervise front-of-house operations and lead the Guest Services team to deliver friendly, efficient, and consistent service in accordance with Bunbury Farmers Market standards. Your duties will include:

• Leading and supporting cashiers and trolley collectors during daily operations.

• Preparing rosters to maintain appropriate coverage during trading hours.

• Overseeing the service area to keep it organised, safe, and well presented.

• Handling guest enquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.

• Monitoring cash handling and register accuracy.

• Training and supporting team members, addressing issues promptly, and working with store leaders to maintain service standards.

What You Will Bring

• Full, unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

• Experience leading or supervising a team in a busy retail, hospitality, or guest-service environment.

• Experience preparing rosters and organising staff coverage.

• Confidence using point-of-sale systems and following cash-handling procedures.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally.

• The ability to organise work, manage competing priorities, and support a team during busy periods.

• A reliable, flexible, and hands-on approach, including availability to work a four-day roster with one weekend day.

• Previous experience training or coaching staff in a busy retail or hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
