Physiotherapist - Women's Health & Pregnancy and Post Natal

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist who enjoys working with women and wants to develop their career within a specialised women's health environment. You will work with women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period, helping them manage physical changes, maintain strength and mobility, recover following birth and confidently return to exercise and everyday activities. The role offers the opportunity to develop and grow our women's health physiotherapy services at Aurellia, with potential to build your own patient base and become an integral part of our multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualised physiotherapy assessments and treatments

• Support women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. Fully aware about Restore program as well as

• Manage musculoskeletal conditions, pelvic pain, back hip and endometriosis pain and other physical concerns

• Provide postnatal rehabilitation and return-to-exercise programs

• Provide pelvic floor assessment, education and rehabilitation where appropriately trained

• Develop personalised exercise and post-surgical rehabilitation programs

• Provide education around safe exercise and physical wellbeing during pregnancy

• Support women with their recovery following childbirth

• Build strong and trusting relationships with patients

• Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation

• Accupunture to treat scars and pain management.

About you

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy

• Current AHPRA registration

• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

• Previous experience in physiotherapy

• Strong interest or experience in women's health, pregnancy and postnatal care

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong clinical reasoning and patient management skills

• A compassionate, professional and patient-centred approach

• Current Australian working rights
