About the role
Statewide Industrial Maintenance Pty Ltd is mobilising for a major 10-day local shutdown commencing Monday 24 August 2026, 12hr shifts with both day and nights on offer. We are seeking experienced and motivated Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters and Coded Welders to join our shutdown team.
As a leading ISO-certified maintenance and engineering contractor with over 20 years of experience, Statewide delivers engineering, fabrication, SMP installation, shutdowns and maintenance services to some of Western Australia's leading industrial clients.
Applicants will be subject to pre-employment D&A screening.

Trade Qualified Boilermakers
Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitters
Coded Welders
Successful applicants will be involved in a variety of shutdown activities including:
Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP) installation
Plant maintenance and equipment replacement
Pipework fabrication and installation
Mechanical maintenance and overhaul activities
General shutdown works in accordance with site procedures
Australian Trade Qualification
Demonstrated shutdown or industrial maintenance experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Current White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
Applicants applying as Coded Welders must be capable of successfully completing a weld test in 6G, with experience across one or more of the following processes:
GTAW (TIG)
FCAW
MMAW / SMAW
Confined Space
Working at Heights
Forklift Licence
Dogging or Rigging Licence
White Card (compulsory)
