Flexographic printer – Flexible Packaging

About the role

We are looking for an experienced flexographic printer to set up and operate the Nilpeter FA-26 flexographic press. You will produce high-quality process and spot colour print, manage UV/LED ink and curing systems, and ensure consistent print quality throughout production runs on flexible film substrates.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Nilpeter FA-26 flexographic press

• Produce high-quality process and spot colour print

• Set and maintain accurate colour, register and impression

• Set up printing plates, anilox sleeves and ink systems

• Operate and manage UV/LED ink and curing systems

• Monitor and maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs

• Manage web tension and register across flexible film substrates

• Complete job changeovers efficiently while minimising setup time and waste

• Identify and troubleshoot print defects and production issues

• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished product meets customer specifications

About you

• Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses

• Strong knowledge of flexographic printing processes

• Experience printing flexible films and packaging substrates

• Good understanding of process and spot colour printing

• Strong colour matching and colour control skills

• Experience with anilox selection, plate mounting and impression setting

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to print quality

• Ability to work efficiently while controlling waste and downtime

• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
