Cost Controller – Rail Infrastructure

We have an immediate requirement for a Cost Controller to support project cost control activities across major rail infrastructure projects, including stations and facilities.
This is a contract role going until end of Jan 2027 with the opportunity for extension, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesUpdate project cost estimates, budgets, change requests, and forecastsMonitor project costs and update existing cost estimation rate tables in ExcelVerify the quality of cost related data feeding various cost/financial reportsMonitor project cost performance by conducting earned value analysisEnsure effective communication of budgetary details, expenditures, forecasts, and project progress to management, facilitating informed decision-making
Skills and RequirementsTertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or similar would be beneficial3-5 years of experience working as a Cost Controller or similar (e.g. Finance Officer, Project Accountant, Cost Advisor etc.)Good Microsoft Excel skills
