Accountant – Japanese Speaking – Gold Coast – Boutique Accounting Firm - $60K To $80K

Our client is a well-established accounting and business services firm on the Gold Coast, known for supporting a diverse range of local and international clients. With a strong and growing Japanese client base, the firm is seeking a Japanese-speaking ax Accountant who can provide clear communication and dependable accounting support. 

In this role, you will handle essential compliance work, including the preparation of tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships. You will also assist with tax planning, maintain contact with government agencies and use accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and other relevant systems. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are important, as you will be working closely with the team to ensure accurate reporting and excellent client service. 

To be considered, you must hold an accounting qualification, have at least six months of experience in a similar environment and be confident using tax preparation software. Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential, as the role requires frequent communication with Japanese clients. The firm is looking for someone reliable, organised and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
