We’re looking for a Space Leader to run our Mulgrave space, opening soon in Melbourne's South East. 🌟

This isn’t your typical office role! With a unique blend of community building, sales, administration and space presentation, you’ll play a key role in creating a vibrant member experience and ensuring the space runs smoothly.

If you’re coming from a leadership role in hospitality or retail, this is a great opportunity to take your skills into an office environment with no weekends or late nights. With full training provided, we’ll support you to grow and develop within the WOTSO environment.

Key Responsibilities

Community & Member Experience

Be the friendly face of the space - welcoming members and visitors and creating a strong first impressionAct as the go-to person for members, providing support across in-person, phone and email enquiriesBuild genuine relationships with members and foster a strong sense of communityDeliver a consistent and engaging onboarding experience for new membersPlan and host community events, including weekly socials and monthly breakfastsCreate and share communications that keep members informed and connected

Sales & Space Operations

Manage the day-to-day operations of the coworking space alongside the Regional ManagerRespond to enquiries, run space tours and convert leads into membershipsMaintain high presentation standards across the space at all timesSupport local marketing initiatives (including social media and community outreach)Assist with general administration and operational tasksTake a hands-on approach - no job is too small

New Site Operational Support

Assist with setup of the new coworking space, including arranging furniture, signage, kitchen supplies, and general presentation. Coordinate ordering, delivery, and installation of furnishings and goods with approval from the Regional Manager. Support project management of onsite trades during the fit-out period, including scheduling, access, and quality checks. Ensure the site remains safe and clean during fit-out and opening stages.

About You

Experience in retail or hospitality management, or similar customer-facing leadership rolesConfident communicator with a warm, professional and approachable styleHighly organised and comfortable juggling a variety of tasksEnergetic and happy being on your feet throughout the dayPassionate about building community and creating positive experiencesAligned with WOTSO’s values of community, flexibility and sustainability
