About the job: 
As a Trainer, you will lead by example to inspire and develop our people to perform safely, confidently, and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for preparing, delivering, assessing, and evaluating training programs that build knowledge, skill, and confidence across the team. By providing constructive feedback and practical guidance, you will help shape a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement, strengthening both individual performance and the overall success of Star Aviation. 

Your work will include: 

Delivery of Training  
Training & Assessment  

• Participate in and contribute to validation and moderation  

• Support and supervise employees to complete their courses as per their Training Plans and course schedules  

• Deliver courses in accordance with Training Packages and industry requirements  

• Ensure students and employers satisfaction benchmarks are met or exceeded  

Administration  

• Maintain accurate student and course records and complete all required reporting  

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Training department and wider organisation  

• Completing, filing, and uploading training records  

Compliance  

• Participate and contribute to internal and external audits  

• Lead by example by demonstrating Star Aviation and Client safety behaviours, actively promoting, and strengthening a positive safety culture  

We’re looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of the aviation industry, who can deliver and support training across operational functions. To succeed, you’ll need to be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, solutions-focused, approachable and confident in communicating and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.  

Mandatory requirement 
The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). To be eligible, you must hold valid photo identification and successfully meet all background and security clearance requirements
