Help prepare Birch & Waite's newest site for launch12-month contract

As we prepare to bring our new Villawood facility online in the first quarter of next year, we're looking for a Safety Consultant to lead safety readiness for the site ahead of the move.
We're looking for someone who can take our existing safety standards and translate them into a new site, working through risk assessments, commissioning checks and readiness planning to make sure Villawood is safe and compliant from the day operations begin.
You'll combine technical safety expertise with hands-on delivery, working closely with operations and project teams to get the new site ready, while keeping our current sites running safely in the meantime.
This role is currently based across our Marrickville and Revesby sites, with a focus on preparing Villawood for a safe move-in in Q1 next year.
You'll be responsible forLeading safety readiness planning and preparation for the new Villawood site ahead of move-inConducting risk assessments, hazard identification and safety audits as part of commissioningDeveloping and adapting safety systems, procedures and training for the new siteEnsuring compliance with WHS legislation and standards prior to occupationPartnering with project, operations and construction teams throughout the transitionSupporting the rollout of established safety systems from Marrickville and Revesby into VillawoodMaintaining safety documentation across current and incoming sites
