Casual Blood Collector (Phlebotomist)
Queensland Fertility Group | Brisbane Clinics
Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Casual Blood Collector to join our friendly team, providing exceptional patient care across our Brisbane clinic network.
About the Role
Working across our Brisbane clinics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services while supporting our administration team with basic reception and patient administration duties. You'll play an important role in ensuring our patients receive professional, compassionate care throughout their fertility journey.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate and efficient blood collections in accordance with best practice guidelines.
Prepare and process pathology specimens for transport.
Safely courier pathology specimens between QFG clinics and external laboratories if required.
Provide exceptional patient care and customer service in a supportive and empathetic manner.
Assist patients with pathology billing, consent forms and collection processes.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all quality and safety standards.
Support clinic operations by assisting with stock management and general administrative tasks.
Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary clinical and administration teams.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or extensive equivalent experience).
A current Australian driver's licence and a willingness to travel between Brisbane clinics and courier pathology specimens.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong computer literacy and confidence using clinical software.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.
