Civil Labourer – NBN Projects (Immediate Start)

About the Role

Fibco is looking for reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers to join our growing team delivering NBN infrastructure projects across South Australia.

This is a hands-on outdoor role working as part of a small crew. Every day is different, and you'll be involved in a variety of civil construction tasks that support the installation of the NBN network.

This role is physically demanding and suited to someone who enjoys manual work, working outdoors, and being part of a team.

Your Responsibilities

• General civil labouring on NBN projects
• Hand digging and trenching
• Assisting with conduit, pit and cable installation
• Concrete and paving removal and reinstatement
• Site preparation and clean-up
• Loading, unloading and moving materials
• Operating hand and power tools, including jackhammers, concrete saws and compactors
• Assisting the crew with daily construction activities
• Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work well as part of a team

Desirable (Not Required)

• Previous NBN experience
• Civil construction experience
• HR Truck Licence
• First Aid & CPR
• Traffic Management
• Working at Heights
• Asbestos Awareness (Class B)
