Recovery Alliance Care is looking for an experienced, compassionate and highly organised Client Care Coordinator to join our growing NDIS team.

This is an important role for someone who understands mental health, psychosocial disability and complex support needs, and who can build strong relationships with participants, families, support workers and external professionals.

You will be responsible for helping ensure our participants receive consistent, high-quality, person-centred support while also supporting our frontline team to deliver services safely and effectively.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Client Care Coordinator, you will work closely with participants living with psychosocial disability and complex mental health needs.

Your role will include:

• Building positive and professional relationships with participants and their support networks
• Coordinating participant supports and ensuring services align with their NDIS goals and support needs
• Regularly checking in with participants and identifying changes in their needs or circumstances
• Working closely with Support Workers to ensure consistent and appropriate support is being provided
• Supporting staff with participant-specific information, routines, risks and support strategies
• Liaising with families, Support Coordinators, Recovery Coaches, allied health professionals and other stakeholders
• Monitoring participant progress and identifying areas where additional support may be required
• Assisting with incident follow-up, risk management and escalation of concerns
• Ensuring participant documentation, progress notes and other records are maintained appropriately
• Supporting the onboarding of new participants and staff
• Attending participant meetings and case reviews where required
• Helping identify opportunities to improve the quality and consistency of supports
• Maintaining a strong focus on choice, control, dignity, independence and recovery

The role requires someone who can confidently work with people experiencing complex and changing circumstances. Mental health and psychosocial disability work requires a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approach and strong professional boundaries.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced working within the NDIS and/or mental health sector
• Experienced supporting people with psychosocial disability
• Confident working with complex mental health presentations
• Trauma-informed and recovery-focused
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A strong communicator who can work confidently with participants, families and professionals
• Compassionate, approachable and non-judgemental
• Confident managing difficult conversations and escalating concerns appropriately
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Comfortable managing multiple participants and competing priorities
• Passionate about improving outcomes for people living with mental health challenges

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be highly regarded:

• Psychosocial disability
• Complex mental health
• Trauma
• Dual diagnosis
• Substance and alcohol use
• Behaviours of concern
• Community mental health
• NDIS client Coordination or Recovery Coaching
• Case management
• Working with families and multidisciplinary teams

A qualification in Mental Health, Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field would be highly regarded. The NDIS also recognises qualifications such as Certificate IV in Mental Health or Mental Health Peer Work for many psychosocial support roles.

Essential Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check, where applicable
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between participant locations where required
• Right to work in Australia
• Previous experience in the NDIS, and mental health sector
