Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Regional Group Australia (RGA) is excited to share we are building a bigger team to meet demands for our expanding business. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join us in our Deer Park Workshop who is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business.

About The Role

The Heavy Diesel Mechanic is responsible for ongoing repairs and maintenance of the RGA fleet. This role will consist of scheduled and priority repairs along with preventative maintenance schedules and annual roadworthy inspections.

Duties Will Include

Maintain, service and repair company vehiclesDiagnose and repair faults and defects in vehiclesField servicing/breakdowns as requiredCarry out tasks at the highest standard possibleInspections and assessments on vehicles as required (including the completion of the relevant documentation)Conduct all activities in a safe manner

Skills And Experience Required

Full Diesel Mechanic qualifications minimum 3 years' experienceTruck servicing abilityExperience with Diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehiclesThe ability to follow direction & work autonomouslyExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsPhysically fit for heavy workThe ability to work in a fast-paced environmentHeavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving Equipment Highly regarded
