Warehouse Picker / Packer – Casual Position

• Company: QBD Books (Support Office & Warehouse)

• Location: Richlands, QLD (Own transport advised; 3km from train station, no local bus stops)

• Hours: Casual role, up to 38 hours per week as required (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

About the Role

Are you an energetic and reliable team player looking to grow with Australia's largest book retailer? Due to ongoing expansion, QBD Books is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our energetic team in Richlands.

This is a hands-on daytime role with stable weekday hours—no night shifts or weekends required!

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and price store orders accurately

• Handle stock replenishment and order dispatch

• Complete general warehouse duties and manual handling

• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace

What We Are Looking For

• Attitude: A positive 'can-do' attitude, great attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand regularly and lift heavy warehouse items safely

• Availability: Flexible to work daytime shifts between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

• Skills: Basic computer skills and a clear ability to multitask

• Qualifications: A current forklift licence is highly advantageous, though not essential

• Transport: Reliable own transport (location has limited public transit access)
