Disability Support Link is an established and registered NDIS allied health provider servicing participants in Metropolitan Melbourne. Our mission is to empower people living with a disability, facilitating new opportunities and greater choice and control. We provide an innovative multidisciplinary service that includes allied health professionals and support coordinators, utilising a collaborative approach to provide customised support and address the unique needs of each participant. Qualifications & experience

• An AHPRA-registered physiotherapist with relevant qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS framework and the disability sector

• Experience working in community settings (preferred but not essential)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, abilities and communication styles

• Commitment to upholding ethical standards, patient confidentiality and professional integrity in all clinical practice

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment

• Ability to work autonomously and independently

• Successful candidates are required to undertake a NDIS Worker Orientation, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening

• You have an ABN number.

• You have your car and your current driver's licence.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, identifying participants' impairments, needs and goals for ongoing care

• Provide evidence-based, individualised physiotherapy interventions to address participants' needs and goals

• Write NDIS reports for plan reviews, considering NDIS guidelines and documentation standards

• Maintain a person-centred approach throughout your therapy input with participants

• Collaborate with participants, their families, their support networks and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care and optimal treatment outcomes
