Personal Care Worker- Community Based

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Worker to support our Home Care clients across the Illawarra region, including Austinmer, Wollongong, Dapto, Shellharbour and Kiama. In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalised, in-home care that empowers clients to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life, while building genuine connections and making a positive impact every day.
 
Depending on each client's individual needs, your duties may include:

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Showering and grooming support
• Respite care
• Light domestic assistance

As you’ll be supporting multiple clients across different locations throughout your shift, you’ll need access to a reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling across the region. Availability from Monday to Friday is highly desirable.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Experience in a similar personal care or aged care role
• A reliable, fully insured vehicle and a current driver's licence
• A National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
• Proof of Australian working rights 
• A current Working with Children Check
• Current Manual Handling, First Aid and CPR certificates
• A minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations
